Beyonce - 4
Beyonce's fourth studio album is something new for her and an attempt to escape from the usual stuff she does.
1. 1+1 (17/20)
Interesting, vocally as well as lyrically powerful. However the beat can be a liitle bit irritating after some time
2.I care (19/20)
Extraordinary. This is a song where her voice and her lyrical talent are evident throughout.
3. I miss you (16/20)
It is Ok: nonetheless, it is confusing and repetitive it seems like a song that was needed to fill the album with no actual purpose
4. Best thing I never had (18/20)
The most successful song from the album is actully very nice and a strong track with an equally strong message where her voice sounds fantastically. However, it is a little bit like she was trying to do a hit through this song
5. Party ft J.Cole (18/20)
The stand out from the album. A very interesting and artistically stipulating song and the rap verse was extremely nice and seemed like it had a flow. However the only not cool about this song is the part where she sings '' eeyy eeyy eeyy'' where it seemed a little bit pretentious
6. Rather Die young (15/20)
The worst in the album by far it served no purpose and the bit was uninteresting and ambiguous
7. Start Over (20/20)
A masterpiece! Her voice here is at its fullest and showcases another side of hers.
8. Love On Top (19/20)
It is a very nice catchy and vocally powerful song with a very interesting beat. However it gets a little bit boring when you overhear it.
9. Countfown (20/20)
The beat and the instrumentation in this is the best by far. Her voice is meticulusly showcased throughout the track,
10. End of time (19/20)
This is a very interesting and joyous track which urges you to dance
11. I was here (19/20)
A well-written, produced as well as sang track which gives a cardinal message. It is enjoyable throughout and pleasant for your ears
12. Who run the world (18/20)
The beat is very interesting. Its aggression is very intriguing and the message of women's empowerment well worth aspiring for.
